This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. This piece has a very rough bark . Plenty of reserves on both ends and consistent diameter throughout. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is brown. The colour of the outer layer of bark is black .

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
