Pre 1972 Narwhal tusk (3.1 lbs)

This fine old specimen is 48.43″ long, 2″  in diameter at the thickest and weighs 3.1 pounds .  This tusk is very smooth with no cracks , good patina and twisting. Narwhal tusks (pre 1972) can be shipped within the U.S. and with an export permit (Which we can help you get if you don’t have) can be shipped to some countries overseas. This came into the U.S. from Canada before 1972 (53 years ago).   When the Marine Mammal Protection Act was enacted it ended the importation into the U.S. but grandfathered/allowed the trade in tusks already here.  We acquire this from individuals and estates.
