This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are a few small, non-penetrating cracks on one cross-cut section. Plenty of reserves on both ends and One cross-cut section is slightly larger than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is silver.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
